The hour-long display is taken from LL COOL J’s set on the 2022 Rock the Bells Pageant. The Grammy Award winner and Rock and Corridor of Status member plays a string of his vintage hits, together with “Going Again to Cali,” “Mama Stated Knock You Out,” “Rock the Bells” and “All I Have” that includes Jennifer Lopez. In an emailed remark, LL COOL J solely tells Billboard, “I’m venerated to were a part of the inaugural Rock The Bells Pageant, a birthday celebration of hip-hop’s roots and its long term. The inaugural Rock The Bells Pageant happened at a sold-out Woodland Hills Stadium in Queens, NY. The pageant franchise is an offshoot of CEO and founder LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Radio channel on SiriusXM. The hip-hop legend not too long ago celebrated the 40th anniversary of Def Jam Recordings, his unique label house, all the way through the 2024 MTV Video Song Awards. He gained his first VMA award for absolute best rap in 1991 and used to be introduced with the display’s Video Leading edge honor in 1997.
MTV Unplugged Gifts: LL COOL J From the Rock The Bells Pageant is government produced for MTV through Bruce Gillmer and Vanessa Whitewolf. LL COOL J, Claudine Joseph and Stone Roberts are the chief manufacturers for Rock The Bells TV.
