Samsung Galaxy XCover8 Professional battery qualified with upper capability

The Galaxy XCover7 is without doubt one of the few ultimate Samsung telephones with a detachable battery – it is a rugged telephone that has discovered its area of interest. Protection Korea qualified the battery for its successor, which will likely be referred to as the “Samsung Galaxy XCover8 Professional,” and supplied a photograph of it plus some main points

The battery, EB-BG766GBY, has 4,265mAh rated and four,350mAh standard capability. That’s 16.88Wh. For comparability, the XCover7 has a smaller 4,050mAh battery (standard capability, 15.59Wh). The battery is manufactured by way of Amperex Era Restricted (ATL).

There hasn’t been an XCover Professional fashion since 2022. That one had some perks like a 120Hz show, an ultrawide digicam, higher selfie digicam and a fingerprint reader in comparison to the XCover7. The XCover8 Professional must have an identical (and maybe even extra) upgrades over the vanilla entries within the sequence.

We don’t know when Samsung plans to unveil the XCover8 Professional. The XCover6 Professional got here out in June 2022, the XCover7 in January 2024, so the primary part of 2025 is our easiest wager for now.
