Of 3 Days Grace’s 18 Mainstream Rock Airplay No. 1s, 11 were with Gontier, the crowd’s unique lead singer, starting with “Simply Like You” in 2004. Following his departure in 2013, succeeding frontman Matt Walst racked up six rulers because the band’s sole vocalist, beginning in 2014 with “Painkiller.”
“Mayday” is the primary unmarried since Gontier rejoined the band, with the singers buying and selling vocals.
In the meantime, “Mayday” laws in its 6th week on Mainstream Rock Airplay, finishing 3 Days Grace’s swiftest upward thrust to No. 1 since “Chalk Define” wrapped a four-week dash in 2012.
