IMF to free up $333 million to crisis-hit Sri Lanka Via Reuters


COLOMBO (Reuters) – The World Financial Fund (IMF) licensed the 3rd evaluation of Sri Lanka’s $2.9 billion bailout on Saturday however warned that the financial system stays prone.

In a remark, the worldwide lender mentioned it will free up about $333 million, bringing general investment to round $1.3 billion, to the crisis-hit South Asian country. It mentioned indicators of an financial restoration have been rising.
